AI in your groups
Maximo Tag: Maximo AI inside WhatsApp & Telegram groups
Maximo Tag brings Maximo AI into the WhatsApp and Telegram groups your team works in, as a shared teammate everyone in the group can use. Add the bot to a group, connect it to your workspace, and tag Maximo to get answers for the whole team — while the full conversation is saved to your workspace chat history. Available on Plus and above; Telegram works today and WhatsApp groups follow once WhatsApp's group API is available to your workspace.
- Connect a group from /dashboard/maximo-tag (owners and admins only): add the Telegram bot @MaximoAIbot to your group, send /connect in the group, then open the secure one-time link and pick your workspace.
- Maximo replies when explicitly tagged: an @mention of the bot, a reply to one of its messages, or the /maximo <request> (or /ask) command in the group.
- Ambient mode (Pro and Max) lets a lightweight model screen incoming messages and answer relevant questions even without a tag, above a per-group confidence threshold. It is off by default and is a per-group toggle.
- Each connected group has its own isolated, long-lived chat session that acts as that group's memory, so one group never bleeds into another and group chatter stays out of company-wide Business Memory.
- The whole group conversation — who sent what, and Maximo's replies — is saved to your workspace chat history in real time, visible to the whole team and marked with a group tag icon.
- Replies and fixed notices are delivered in the language of the group's own messages, so global teams get a native experience.
- Each group can use its own Maximo model and reasoning effort, chosen from the dashboard. Group admins can /pause and /resume Maximo in the group.
- Usage is metered per workspace: connected groups, AI replies per month and per day, screened (triaged) messages per month, and concurrent replies are all capped by plan; heavy replies also draw on the shared business AI token pool.
